Mike Bartell / Woodcraftsman is first and foremost, a Custom Cabinet Shop. Both traditional face frame and contemporary frameless methods are offered. I prefer frameless case construction utilizing the efficient "32mm system". Assembly methods meet or exceed AWI standards. Interior shelves and partitions are of 3/4" Panolam brand thermofused melamine or natural wood.

All forms of cabinetry are available in all materials. With your specifications and cost considerations, I can easily adapt to your needs. Special purpose cabinets that are angular, curved, solid wood, veneer, laminate, glass, built in or free standing, are no problem. Hardware and mechanisms are carefully researched for the most suitable for the application. Doors, drawers and drawer fronts are custom made in-house or if logistics require, out-sourced to Walzcraft Industries Inc.; a high quality component manufacturer.

All finishing is done in-house with quality water-white, low-VOC nitrocellulose lacquer. A pre-catalyzed version is used for horazontal surfaces such as table & bar tops. Pre-catalzed lacquer has the durability of varnish without the yellowing. Both oil & dye stains are used when coloration is desired. All finishes are applied with high quaility production spray equipment to assure a smooth and even finish with a" rubbed-effect" sheen.
